From its inception over 50 years ago, in the middle of the industrial boom, the Company's objective was to develop ranges of corrosion resistant thermoplastic valves and actuators, specifically designed for industrial applications.

The company developed rapidly and today has over 120 employees in six countries, as well as a vast network of distributors and commercial agents enabling SAFI to satisfy its clients wherever they are in the world.

We have two dedicated manufacturing plants based in Dorset England and Southern France. With a range of over 7000 products and tailor made design service and manufacture, SAFI has only one ambition more than to sell its products, it wishes to give solutions to its clients.

The application of rigorous design, production, quality control standards and 100% product testing enables SAFI to meet the most demanding industries; chemical, storage & transportation of liquids, mining, crop spraying, marine, power generation and water treatment.

Working with the latest technologies and materials, we have developed a core range of products; ball butterfly, diaphragm, check & non-return valves, dampers, strainers, sight glasses etc.... Not forgetting our compact range of electric actuators and the ability to fit various brands of electric & pneumatic actuators to our valves, ranging from half inch to twenty four inch.

We manufacture and supply products using carefully selected plactics. Uniquely, we offer a Glass Reinforced Polypropylene (GRPP) known for its robust structure and ability to be used in a wide range of demanding applications. Other materials include uPVC, cPVC, ABS, PP, PVDF and Antistatic PP.
