Langley Alloys is the home of super duplex. Having developed Ferralium® 255, the first commercial super duplex stainless steel, we remain one of the world’s leading stockholders of duplex, super duplex, nickel and copper alloys, ideally suited to valve and flow-control manufacture.

Operating from dedicated facilities in the UK and USA, we carry extensive stocks in bar, plate and tube form. Bar is available from ½″ to 16″ diameter and plate from 1/16″ to 3″ thick, and we also supply sheet, pipe, fittings, flanges, forgings and machined parts as required. Core grades include 2205, 2507, Alloy 32760, 316L and nickel alloys 625, 718 and 825.

With more than 85 years of metallurgical expertise, our alloys perform in the harshest service, from subsea valves at great depth to the aggressive media of oil and gas, power generation, chemical processing and marine applications.

Our range is complemented by unique metals developed by Langley Alloys:

● Ferralium®: the highest-strength super duplex stainless steel, widely specified for subsea and topside valves
● Hiduron®: a high-strength copper-nickel alloy with superb resistance to galling and hydrogen embrittlement
● Fermonic®: high-strength, high-galling-resistant super austenitic stainless steels
