Subject: AI Isn’t the Advantage - Your Skill with It Is

Session Description: Most organisations are spending time debating which AI tool to use. The teams that pull ahead are doing something simpler - and harder - getting genuinely good at using AI in real work, every day.

In this Lunch & Learn, George Garnett from PAIR will share a practical playbook for building the AI habits that lead to better output across the workforce. He will explore how to think with AI, not just ask it questions; how to turn vague prompts into genuinely useful results; and how to use AI safely, confidently and credibly in a manufacturing context. The session will focus on the practical skills that matter most, regardless of which tool your organisation chooses.

Presenter: George Garnett, PAIR

About George: George Garnett is an enterprise commercial scaler working at the forefront of applied AI, focused on helping build companies that turn technological potential into meaningful performance. He is currently at PAIR, a UK AI adoption platform supporting c.300 organisations to embed AI into everyday work, tackling the challenge of technological diffusion so people can leverage AI effectively. George has driven growth across enterprise roles in UK and US financial services, scaling SaaS businesses, and building partnerships across VC and climate ecosystems. He founded and secured funding for a startup while at university. George holds a master’s from Yale School of Management and occasionally lectures at Durham University.
